About this collection
Made by people, not by a factory
Every blend in this collection was prepared by hand in the Brazilian Amazon, by families who have made rapé for generations. The Huni Kuin of the Rio Jordão. The Nukini of the Rio Moa, in Mâncio Lima, Acre: the Jaguar People, which is what Nukini means in their language. The Puyanawa, whose villages sit on the same river. The Kuntanawa of the Rio Tejo. The Noke Kuin of the Rio Gregório, often called Katukina.
Some of these blends were prepared by Chief Assis Kaxinawá. His documents say Kaxinawá, the name outsiders gave his people. Ask him, and he will tell you he is Huni Kuin: the true people. We use the name he uses. Queen of the Forest has shared their rapé since 2015.
Where to start
If rapé is new to you, begin with a blend known for grounding and clarity: Yawanawá Tsunu, our most loved blend, Murici, the gentle one, or Ayoa. Sizes
Most blends come in 10 g, 20 g, 50 g and 100 g. If a size is sold out, the blend’s page shows it. For circles, practitioners and shops, 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg are on Wholesale Rapé (Hapé).
Shipping
Orders ship from the USA, and shipping is free on US orders over $150. We also ship to Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia. State rules prevent us from shipping rapé to a small number of US states, and checkout tells you before you pay.

Which rapé should I start with?
A grounding blend such as Yawanawá Tsunu, Murici or Ayoa. Start with a 10 g tin; it lasts longer than most people expect.
Do I need an applicator?
Yes. A kuripe lets you serve yourself; a tepi is used when another person serves you. See Kuripe and tepi.

Indigenous families in Acre, in the Brazilian Amazon: Huni Kuin, Nukini, Puyanawa, Kuntanawa and Noke Kuin.
Do you ship outside the US?

How should I store rapé?
