We want you to be happy with what you receive from us. Because much of what we carry is a consumable, hand-prepared botanical medicine, our return policy reflects both hygiene requirements and the nature of these traditions.

Consumable products

We cannot accept returns on opened rapéh, sananga, or other consumable medicines. Once a tin or bottle has been opened we have no way to verify how it has been stored or handled, and we will not resell it to another person. This is a hygiene and safety position, not a commercial one.

Unopened items

Unopened items in their original, unmarked packaging may be returned within 15 calendar days of delivery. Please contact us at [email protected] before sending anything back, so we can confirm eligibility and give you the correct return address. Items sent back without prior contact may not be refundable.

Non-consumable items

Applicators, jewelry, apparel and ceremonial tools may be returned within 15 calendar days of delivery, provided they are unused and in their original condition and packaging.

Damaged, incorrect or missing items

If something arrives damaged, if you receive the wrong item, or if part of your order is missing, we will make it right. Email [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs of both the item and the packaging, and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Return shipping

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, and original shipping charges are not refunded. This does not apply to damaged or incorrect items, which we cover in full.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect a returned item we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. The time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer.

Handmade variation is not a defect

Many of our items are handmade or traditionally prepared, so slight differences in colour, shape, aroma, texture or finish occur naturally between pieces and between batches. This variation is a mark of authenticity rather than a fault, and is not grounds for return.
