Clarisse and Sebastiao – Um casal firmeza (a firm couple)

Carlinhos Sebastiao and Clarisse have given their service to the Santo Daime church in Lumiar for so many years even they lost count. Their entire family participates in the ceremonies of the church. They were so happy and open to share with us and to help the Ancient Voices project. Here is a sneak peak into what they shared with us.

Marcio Purusha

Marcio Purusha is the founder of Queen of the Forest and has walked the Amazonian medicine path since 1988. A student of the Santo Daime tradition, a certified Road Man of the Native American Church, and creator of the Ancient Voices film project, he has spent more than three decades in ceremony, study, and direct relationship with the Indigenous communities of the forest — including the Huni Kuin, Yawanawá, Nukini, and Kuntanawa peoples whose medicines Queen of the Forest shares with the world.
