About this blend

A deeply grounding Kuntanawa blend from Acre, Brazil, made with the ash of the canela de velho plant. Earthy and steady, it draws awareness inward and downward toward a stable, centered foundation, and in indigenous knowledge is associated with firmness and calm strength. A body-centered alternative to Tsunu; small-batch and hand-prepared.

Canela de Velho is often chosen by those seeking a steady and supportive grounding experience, helping to bring balance, resilience, and a stable presence to daily ritual.

Origin and Craftsmanship

Canela de Velho Rapeh is prepared in connection with the Kuntanawa people. The Kuntanawa call themselves the People of the Palm Fruit, or the People of the Stars. They live in the State of Acre, in the Alto Juruá Indigenous Reserve on the Tejo River, in the municipality of Marechal Thaumaturgo, in the villages of Kuntamana and 7 Stars, with a population estimated around 400. They carry a rich variety of forest snuffs and blends. Each batch is unique — variations in texture, aroma, and intensity reflect the natural cycles of the forest and the traditional methods used in its preparation.

Botanical Composition

Canela de Velho Rapeh is made with Sabia mapacho (tobacco) and the ashes of the canela de velho plant. As a natural, hand-prepared botanical blend, it is not a standardized industrial product.
