Emburana Rapeh is a traditional Amazonian blend prepared by the Kaxinawá people of Brazil, also known as the Huni Kuin, or “real people.” Made with mapacho (Amazonian tobacco), Tsunu bark ash and Emburana together with other forest herbs, it is dark in color, finely milled, and known among experienced rapéh users for its robust character and grounded, clarifying quality.

Origin and Craftsmanship

This blend comes from the Kaxinawá (Huni Kuin) communities of the Brazilian Amazon, whose name derives from huni (“man”) and kuin (“real”). Each batch is hand-prepared by Indigenous artisans following practices kept within the community. As a small-batch, handmade product, its color, aroma and texture may vary slightly from batch to batch.

Botanical Composition

Emburana Rapeh is prepared from finely sifted mapacho blended with tree ashes and forest botanicals, including Tsunu bark. The result is a dark, dry, finely powdered blend with a warm, earthy aroma and a strong, distinctive character that experienced users often describe as grounding and clarifying.
