The Kuntanawa call themselves the People of the Palm Fruit, or the People of the Stars. This ethnic group is from the State of Acre, in the Alto Jurua’ Indigenous Reserve, located on the Tejo River, in the municipality of Marechal Thaumaturgo. They live in the villages Kuntamana and 7 Stars. The total population is estimated around 400 Kuntanawa. They have a wonderful variety of Shamanic Snuffs, Rape’s with a great variety of flavors and uses.
