About This Blend

The Kuntanawa call themselves the People of the Palm Fruit, or the People of the Stars. They live in the State of Acre, in the Alto Juruá Indigenous Reserve on the Tejo River, in the municipality of Marechal Thaumaturgo, in the villages of Kuntamana and 7 Stars, with a population estimated around 400. Origin and Craftsmanship

This blend is hand-prepared in small batches, carrying the character of traditional Kuntanawa craftsmanship and a deep connection to the forest.

Botanical Composition

Veia de Paje is made with natural Sabia mapacho (tobacco), ashes of the Sapota tree, and a forest vine known as the “heart of the boa constrictor” for its heart-shaped leaves — also called the “Veia de Paje” (Vein of the Paje).
