The cosmology of the Kuntanawa people is centered around palm trees, such as the Jarina. They say their people came to the Earth riding on these trees. Jarina flowers are a very traditional medicine carrying ancestral secrets of the Kuntanawa people, it is few who know how to work with this medicine. It is said to drive away negative energy, bringing balance, open paths, peace and tranquility in your walk.

The Kuntanawa call themselves the People of the Palm Fruit, or the People of the Stars. This ethnic group is from the State of Acre, in the Alto Jurua’ Indigenous Reserve, located on the Tejo River, in the municipality of Marechal Thaumaturgo. They live in the villages Kuntamana and 7 Stars. The total population is estimated around 400 Kuntanawa. They have a wonderful variety of Shamanic Snuffs, Rape’s with a great variety of flavors and uses.
